Our skipper, Russell Tanaka, is a licensed captain with over 20 years experience in commercial fishing in Hawaiian waters. He holds the distinction of being the only skipper in the world to have caught the largest fish in a tournament where two fish came in over a thousand pounds, and he's done it twice.

Magic Sport Fishing Captain Tanaka also holds the distinction of winning the only tournament in the world that brought in two fish over 1,100 pounds, and he is the only person to claim a second and first in a tournament having two fish over a grand.

Our vessel "Magic," a 50-foot Pacifica yacht outfitted with the best professional equipment and an air conditioned cabin is the most comfortable sportfisher on Oahu. Her twin diesels provide a superior ride. Her LOA is 57 feet.
