Menehune Flight - 30 mins
As you depart our historic Princeville Airport, featured in the Kevin Costner movie "Dragonfly," you'll be transformed into a world of lush tropical rain forests, jagged mountains, sea cliffs, beaches and craters. Combined with music and narration, you'll climb past Hanalei, "Home of South Pacific," hover over the 3,400-foot. Mt. Namolokama waterfalls and soar into the vast Waimea Canyon. You'll pass Pu'u-ka-Pele, "Volcano Hill" before crossing the Alakai swamp. Then be prepared for total awe as the Na Pali Cliffs open up before you. Your return flight passes Bali Hai made famous in the movie "South Pacific."
This flight is only offered once a day with 8:45am check-in.
Garden Island Highlights - 45 mins
Climb up Hanalei Valley where you'll escape into a world of lush tropical rain forests, jagged mountains, sea cliffs, beaches and craters. Enter the crater of Mt. Wai'ale'ale (weather permitting) and marvel at the wailing wall with its numerous waterfalls cascading over 2,000 feet from the heavens above. Onward to Hanapepe Valley, site of Manawaipuni Falls, also known as Jurassic Park Falls. You'll soar into the Waimea Canyon with its vivid colors, awesome depth and breadth. At the base of the canyon is Waimea Bay, where Captain Cook first landed in 1778. The Alakai swamp will pass below you before crossing the majestic 4,000-foot sea cliffs of the Na Pali Coast and the spectacular Kalalau Valley. Your return flight passes Bali Hai, featured in the Kevin Costner movie "Dragonfly."
Garden Island Deluxe - 60 mins
This is the most comprehensive flight, offering you everything on the Menehune and Garden Isle Highlights flights! The additional time allows your flight to cover more famous film locations such as "Jurassic Park," "The Thornbirds," and "Indiana Jones." It also flies toward Lihu'e to see the old sugar plantations and cattle ranches.You'll also see Wailua Falls, made famous in the television series "Fantasy Island."
