If you want to bring your own food and beverages, you should obtain it all the night before as there are few stores open in the early morning hours. We can provide a picnic lunch if you so desire that runs about $19 per person.

Each charter is entitled to one fish caught that day. If requested, the crew will fillet and bag the fish. Alternatively, we have made arrangements with the Blue Marlin Restaurant to prepare lunch or dinner for our guests using the fish they caught. The Blue Marlin does a superb job and charges only $12.00 per person for this great service.

About Makoa Kai - The Boat
• Makoa Kai is a 46' custom Bertram Sportfishing outfitted specifically for Maui's waters.
• Makoa Kai is powered by 1,300 hp, weighs over 80,000 pounds and has a cruising speed of 30+ knots
• The captain and the boat are both licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard
• The captain and crew are from Maui and together have more than 50 years of fishing experience in Maui's waters. They are known as one of the best fishing teams on the Island.
• We provide top-quality Penn International and Shimano rods and reels (130#, 80#, 80#-wide and 50#). We put new line on every reel at the beginning of every season.
• State-of-the-art electronics package including sonar, fish finder, GPS, radar and communications
• Air-conditioned main salon with comfortable seating, TV, VCR, hi-fi stereo and two marine heads
• Galley with full-size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker
• The boat and all the equipment are meticulously maintained
