Take a Maui Eco-Adventure
The short drive from Kahului to this tropical paradise will take you along the famous North shore of Maui, through historic little Paia town and to the equally world famous surfing/wind surfing mecca of Hookipa. When you arrive Maui Eco-Adventures' expert naturalist guides will take you on a gentle hike through an exclusive private estate complete with a Waterfall with a large natural swimming pool, ginger gardens, Royal Kalo Loi' (Taro Terraces) of King David Kalakaua and a lush exotic botanical rainforest.

The tour includes an orientation on edible, medicinal and ornamental ginger as well as other native Hawaiian plants.

Plunge Into a Waterfall Pool

After learning about the cultural and environmental significance of this special place, we will enjoy a refreshing swim in a large waterfall pool. Your guide will even supply the towels. After our swim, we will stop by the Ginger Garden Gift Shop to learn more about the invigorating and rejuvenating effects of ginger.

Weather permitting we may even get the opportunity to go into the Butterfly Pavilion to experience the beauty of the Monarch butterfly.
